SUMMER LEARNING

Here at the museum and visitor information center, we believe in passing knowledge and curiosity forward to the next generations.  It’s so important to have different view-points and be able to hear the voices of the community to make a brighter future together.

This is why we offer experiences and programs to the younger generation to experience varied things at the museum.  From Young Archeologists, to Day in the Life of a Pioneer, get a snap-shot into these subjects for your children during the summer months!

REMINISCE KITS:

On loan to take home, our Reminisce Kits with lesson sheets, quiz cards, and laminated photo cards provide a platform for discussion and learning about the past.

Wonder what it was like during the Fraser River flood, what farmers grew in the Harrison River Valley, or how transportation and everyday conveniences have changed?

Pick up one of our four themed kits to discuss with your class or group. Perfect for home schooling classes.
