The Agassiz-Harrison Historical Society came to the realization that there was a lack of updated local history. This prompted the three year process of writing, curating, and publishing Memories, a two volume book, covering the history of the area and the families that founded Agassiz.

Memories, Volume 2 - Page 5, The Preface

Volume 1 of Memories follows the history of the area, like farming, businesses, and local government. The topics included: Geography, Geology, First Settlers, Community Histories, Agriculture, Business and Commerce, Churches and Religious Groups, Correctional Services, Disasters, Doukhobours, Events, Fisheries Activities, Governments, Lodges, Lodging, Medical and Emergency Services, Fire Departments, Organizations, Service Clubs, Groups, Commission, Ladies Auxiliary, Schools, Sports, Transportation, and Wars.
Volume 2 of Memories follows the family histories of Agassiz and Harrison.
