The Agassiz Monday Painters strike again! Beginning in 1961, this group has been a treasured fixture in in the Agassiz community, giving locals a space to learn from one-another and grow together. The Agassiz-Harrison Museum is delighted to host these artworks to be shared with our community.

About the event
Monday Agassiz Painters is a local painting group which began in 1965. That group has grown from a few friends to its present count of about 30. We support each other, sharing ideas, critique, and friendship. We have occasional workshops and trips to art events and painting plein air to further influence our evolution.
Our annual art exhibition and sale is in May and have displayed works in the Agassiz Museum and Harrison Art Show.
Our members use a variety of mediums and are at different levels of abilities. We support members wherever they are at and encourage anyone who would like to participate
To join us, come out on Monday mornings at 11:00 at the Agassiz United Church.
